Cause analysis and solution of SS butterfly valve corrosion
1. The SS butterfly valve was corroded during use. Through metallographic structure analysis, dyeing test face, heat treatment test face, SEM and other test analysis, SS butterfly valve is found that the key factor of material corrosion is that the carbide precipitation along the grain boundary forms chromium poor zone, which causes SS butterfly valve corrosion.
2. The SS butterfly valve made of CF8M was corroded during use. After normal heat treatment, austenitic stainless steel should have austenite structure at room temperature and good corrosion resistance.
3. In order to analyze the corrosion reason of SS butterfly valve, samples were taken on it for analysis.
